Profile and About John McBride
Bio
John McBride was born in Texas and attended Houston's High School for the Performing and Visual Arts where he was taught photography by the late Paul Mazzara. After graduation, John enrolled at the University of Houston and studied under the direction of internationally recognized fine art photographer George Krause.
John moved to New York City at the age of nineteen and immediately entered the photography field. For five years he assisted numerous commercial photographers in the United States and Europe. Further instruction was provided by Bob Brooks at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
In 2007 a selection of John McBride's images were chosen for inclusion in the permanent photography collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
John currently resides in New York City.
